About
This simple and serene composition was executed in 1958. Though many of White’s cropped nature photographs appear to be found sites, this image seems to be highly staged, perhaps in a studio setting. During the year 1958 White was also commissioned by the Strasenburgh Laboratories to create documentary and advertising pictures of a mural in Rochester.
