About
This close-up shot of a feminine leg in a heel takes the body part also seen in WeeGee’s portrait of Billie Dauscha and Mabel Sidney out of its original context. Through this decontextualization, one gains the ability to pay more attention to the details of said leg. One can more clearly distinguish the dollar bills stuffed in their stocking and the hairs on the leg. The graceful curve of the lone leg becomes a sort of abstract piece which transcends its body.

Then we add finishing touches like a wall hanging mount, wall friendly bumpers and a protective backing.
