About
This snapshot of sensual intimacy between a couple in a crowd watching a 3-D film is unusual in WeeGee’s usual amusing way. The couple engrossed in their kiss are surrounded by other moviegoers in their seats wearing 3-D glasses, trying to watch the film amongst their public display of affection. WeeGee must have used a flash in the dim move theater to achieve the lighting which spotlights the couple, making the shot all the more amusing– seeing the man above the couple begin to remove his glass, either in dismay from their kissing or WeeGee’s flash, while another surprised movie-goer seemingly looking directly at WeeGee and his brash flash.
