About
Delta Water is one of Thiebaud’s landscapes, from a bird’s eye view, of a Californian river. Known mostly for his colorful still-lifes of the 1960s, this later work of his returns to the landscape pieces earlier in his career. Delta Water exemplifies Thiebaud’s profiency in color technique and application, and portrays a gentle, pleasant scene.
