About
This evening landscape depicts a relatively new park of van Gogh’s time called Square Saint-Pierre in Paris, which is today known as Square Louise-Michel. A few young greenish-blue trees have hints of maroon speckles in the laves, the same color as seen in the faint silhouettes of people walking by below the trees.
