About
Light Pictures is a painting consisting of various black lines and strokes on a bright background of colors highlighting the lines. The concentration of the forms in the center of the painting expands into a less dense and more open combination of colors and lines. Although abstract in its style and form, Kandinsky described the painting as having “nothing to do with an object”. Thus, the forms in the painting are not attached to any physical reality, instead, the lyrical artwork is an expression of an ethereal quality of happiness and spirituality.
