About
In this painting, Kandinsky experiment with his ideas of the psychological repercussion of colors and the relationships it forms, especially with the primary colors of yellow, red, blue. These ideas are incorporated in this abstract expression along with geometric shapes inside the yellow oval suspended in a dark blue background. The black and red geometric figures in the center of the oval resemble chaotic energy that is balanced with the open background. However, the painting is not entirely an artistic experiment but also resembles a cosmic scene, with planets and stars.
