About
This artwork is one of the paintings in which Kandinsky experimented with the relationship between music and visual art. He believed that music could be expressed through art and create abstract forms to represent different aspects of musical composition. Throughout the painting, light and dark shades of blue draw the viewer’s eyes to distinct abstract forms, prompting the viewer to focus on the individual elements and ponder on its connection with the larger composition.
