About
In Plate 24, Sonia Delaunay evokes a dynamic sense of movement with her use of lines and a vibrant blue color scheme. The lines are unpainted canvas, and they create an engaging pattern. This artwork was created using the pochoir technique which is a sophisticated type of stencil used in printing.
Delaunay created the composition by forming diamond-like shapes inside of four large triangles.
