In the Garden is a print that depicts a woman attending to her garden. It is part of a five screenprint series that he titled The Prevalence of Ritual. The print refers to the Bible story of Eve and the Garden of Eden but also ideas of traditions of healing that has been passed on through generations. The woman appears as a motherly and knowledgeable figure that emphasizes the idea of community and the importance of women in the community.
