About
This work, composed from gouache on paper, is an example of Picasso’s earliest work, as is evident from its style, which is far more traditional than the Cubist style that Picasso is best known for. In Boy with Cattle, Picasso works in the Post Impressionist style to depict a youthful boy hard at work leading two cattle.
