Macolm John Rebennack Jr. was better known as Dr. John, a famed New Orleans musician and songwriter. His father had an appliance store and also sold records, this allowed Dr. John to meet many musicians. When he was a young teenager he met Professor Longhair, and Dr. John's path in life was set.
