About
Giving Thanks depicts a family gathered around a table, saying a prayer before they eat. The bed next to the table demonstrates the small size of the one-room cabin the family lives in. The wood grain on the walls and furniture is indicative of Pippin’s signature technique of burning wood with a hot poker before adding color paint.
