About
Two Disciples at the Tomb captures a spiritual moment when two of Jesus’s followers realize that he has risen from the dead. The darkness of the sky reveals the somber mood of Jesus’s death which is contrasted with the light that emerges from the tomb which illuminates the space outside. The scene is concentrated on the two disciples which disregard superfluous details. His emphasis on the implications of Jesus' rise from the tomb is shown through the hopeful emotions of both of the men.
