About
With spontaneous strokes of blocked paints, Hofmann abstractly depicts a warm summer’s day in Summer Over Land. Occluded orange land becomes juxtaposed with the singular pink sky. The pink only becomes disrupted by three spots of vibrant yellow– the sunshine, above two dots of brown– some trees.
