About
Vibrant blocks of red, blue, green, yellow, and orange come together in an ordered clash of lines, alluding to Cubism. The impasto technique Hoffman employs in Elysium contributes to the intensity, giving the bold colors an added physical dimension through texture. Hofman creates an balance of lines through chaos of colors and textures.
