About
Ya es hora. (It is time.) is one of the eighty prints in Goya’s 1799 ‘Los Caprichos’ series of aquatint etchings which aimed to condemn the society in which he lived. This etching is the 80th one in the series, as evident by the written number in the top right, making it the last print in the series. Goya depicts goblins and witches writhing in pain at sunlight, mouths agape in screaming pains.
