About
This painting, done in the Rococo style, is a self-portrait of the French artist and her daughter Jeanne-Lucie-Louise. Madame LeBrun was court painter to Marie Antoinette and other aristocrats, but here she creates a very personal work: a naturalistic, loving image of a mother and her daughter.
