About
The little dog, Tama, stands alert with its mouth open and tongue out, panting. The brushwork captures the fur of the dog perfectly: tight, deliberate strokes make up the face where the hair is shortest, and show off the dog’s expression, while the tail painted with long, quick brushstrokes to mimic the springy hair that swoops downwards from it. Each of the dog’s eyes seem to sparkle, giving it the appearance of a lively little pet.
