About
Contrary to what one may assume upon reading the title of this piece, it actually depicts a single woman from multiple angles as she combs her hair. Degas sought out the awkward, inelegant poses women would hold their bodies in when in private. The leg tucked under the knee, the head bowed and hair tugged, the hunched back all showed that the woman was not posed for the consumption of a viewer, but that she was existing for herself, in her own moment of vulnerability and self care.

Women Combing Their Hair
We Offer High Quality
Custom Framing
We use the highest quality wood in our modern shop to create custom frames, frame your print with precision-cut acid-free mat board, and mount it behind a UV-blocking semi-gloss plexiglass to protect your art from the sun, dust, pollution, heat, and humidity. Then we add finishing touches like a wall hanging mount, wall friendly bumpers and a protective backing.
