About

Dorothea Lange’s documentary photography captures the lives of migrant workers who traveled from farm to farm during the dust bowl in search of work. In this scene, a group of farmers all gather on the sidewalk in town in their brimmed hats and dusty boots. The images that Lange took were used by the Farm Security Administration of the United States government to garner sympathy for the forgotten workers out west who were hit hardest by the Great Depression.

Custom Framing

We use the highest quality wood in our modern shop to create custom frames, frame your print with precision-cut acid-free matt board, and mount it behind a UV-blocking semi-gloss plexiglass to protect your art from the sun, dust, pollution, heat, and humidity. Then we add finishing touches like wall hanging mount, wall friendly bumpers and a protective backing.
