About
Carrington renders her fascination with the Andalusian landscapes during her visit to Spain and France in the 1920s. She platforms this exotic landscape with contrasting textures; the foreground depicts yellow smooth mountain peaks while the background develops a dense rocky and jagged outcrop in darker hues. She then also isolates the tiny figures to the left of the mountains as they walk on a narrow path in the immense terrain.
