Interstate 10 is one of the large cross-country freeways, it runs from Santa Monica, California all the way to Jacksonville, Florida in the east. State Route 60 roughly parallels I-10 in California and both cut through the Inland Empire which is east of Los Angeles and includes the cities of Riverside and San Bernadino. I-10 and the 60 merge in Beaumont, California.
