About
While Monet's garden matured, he turned to the surrounding farms tucked into rolling hills to paint. There, fields of poppies and wheat were cultivated. Monet painted at least four versions of the poppy fields, and while he did not consider it a series, the works are the same size and could have been displayed as such.
