About
Sheeler visited Amoskeag Mills in Manchester, New Hampshire long after they had been shuttered and was taken by their empty and silent expansivness. He took photographs at the time which he later turned into photocollages, one of which was taken as the inspiration for this painting. Notably, Sheeler has removed all minor details to emphasize the simplicity of the subject.

Then we add finishing touches like a wall hanging mount, wall friendly bumpers and a protective backing.
