About
Morisot captures the childlike personality of her daughter, Julie Manet, who peers through a frosty window looking out to the snowy landscape. Indoors, Morisot uses bright blue and red colors to highlight the playfulness of the child and the indoor warmth. The brushstrokes also and animate Julie’s posture while they describe the environment.
