New England Regional Art Museum

The New England Regional Art Museum in Armidale (New South Wales, Australia) is the home of The Howard Hinton Collection of over 1,300 works of art by leading Australian artists from the late 19th and early 20th century including Tom Roberts, Arthur Streeton, Margaret Coen, Hans Heysen and Nora Heysen, Esther Patterson, Norman Lindsay, Lionel Lindsay, Elioth Gruner, Adrian Feint and Herbert Badham. The purpose built art museum opened in 1983 to house the collection as well as the Chandler Coventry Collection of Australian artists from the 1960s-1980s and more works by contemporary artists from the NERAM Collection. It is one of the leading art museums in regional Australia with a program of curated and visiting exhibitions, educational activities, Studio 52 café, Museum Shop artist-in-residence space and the Museum of Printing.
