Art Services International (ASI)

Art Services International, a nonprofit educational institution, has more than a 45-year history of organizing fine art traveling exhibitions of the highest quality, hosted by major museums and galleries throughout the United States and abroad. These traveling exhibitions, drawn from sources throughout the world, cover a wide range of artistic topics and vary in scope from large, all-inclusive showings with popular appeal to small, intensive explorations of scholarly subjects. A distinguished board of trustees, comprising individuals chosen for their broad experience and interest in the arts, oversees ASI’s activities. We are in regular contact with both private and institutional lenders, and our traveling exhibitions, organized by leading art historians, bring together important works of art from public and private collections worldwide in what is frequently the first and only U.S. tour. ASI is, first and foremost, an educational organization, created to build and enrich the visual understanding of our collective cultural heritage.

Art Services International handles all aspects of traveling exhibitions including organization of the tour, preparation of educational and scholarly catalogues, publicity materials, arrangements for insurance, packing and transportation, and administration of the tour. We manage exhibitions of works in all media – paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, decorative arts, and sculpture – including works of the Old Masters through to modern and contemporary artists and craftsmen. Our staff works closely with museums to develop exhibition programs specifically tailored to their needs, and supplementary educational and interpretive materials (including slides, photo panels, and posters) are prepared to accompany ASI exhibitions.

In all its endeavors, Art Services International shares with museums throughout the world a commitment to enhance the appreciation of art.
