Albuquerque Museum

The Albuquerque Museum, originally known as the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, is located in the Old Town area of the city, and presents the art and history of the Southwest, and the Middle Rio Grande Valley in New Mexico.

The collections include over 400 years of art and artifacts including armor, art, and weaving. The museum opened in 1967 and moved to its current buiilding, designed by Albuquerque architect Antoine Predock in 1979. An expantion was finishe in 2005 by Rohde May Keller McNamera Architecture (RMKN).
