1000Museums Collection

I don’t know the title of a work of art. How can I find it?

If you know the name of the artist, you can search to see all the works in our collection. If you know the museum that owns the work you can search for the museum by name and browse any works that we have available from their collection. If you’ve seen it in an exhibition that is available on our site you can also find it there.

Do you have this particular painting?

Try searching by artist, title, exhibition or museum. If you don’t find it, we may not have it yet! We are continually working with our museum partners to bring in images from their collections and exhibitions.

If there is a specific work of art that you would like to see on 1KM please submit your request to suggestions@1000museums.com. We can’t promise we will get it - but we’ll add it to our list of works to bring in to the collection!

Shipping

I didn’t get a shipping confirmation or a tracking number. Has my order shipped?

Every item that we sell is printed on-demand, just for you. Once your order is printed and ready, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number. You can also contact customer service with questions, simply call or email us with your order number.

Can you offer expedited shipping?

All unframed items are sent via FedEx Ground, with a shipping standard of 3 to 5 business days (within Continental US). Framed items are shipped 3rd party ground transportation. But we know sometimes that is just not fast enough. We can order expedited shipping at an additional charge, once your order has been printed. Just contact Customer Service and we can provide pricing for overnight shipping.

Items in my order arrived damaged. Will you replace them?

Yes. In the event that damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in the product, we will accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Learn more by visiting our Returns page.

International Orders

1000Museums collects necessary taxes on orders going to US addresses. Any duties or taxes for orders going to other countries are the responsibility of the recipient and may need to be paid before the order is delivered, according to local laws.

Returns and exchanges

I don’t like this item, can I return it?

Yes. You can return items purchased from 1000Museums.com within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges and refunds issued will be for the item purchase price only. The original shipping charges are nonrefundable. Your refund will be issued once the item has been received at 1000Museums. Please visit our returns page for more details

How will my prints be shipped?

Every item that is ordered is created on demand. Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always forefront. Every item we ship is carefully inspected before leaving our facility. Unframed prints are rolled in tubes and ship Priority Mail. Framed items are shipped FedEx ground. If you have purchased both framed and unframed prints the items will be shipped separately.

Museum Discounts

I get a member discount at the museum; does that apply to your website?

At this time, museum membership discounts are not available on 1000Musuems.com. However, in many cases, the item can be ordered through the museum store and the museum can apply your membership discount. Please contact the museum shop and ask about ordering prints from 1000Museums through their shop.
