Sybil May Huntington (1734 – 1798) was an American painter, mostly known for her painting, Haddam, of the Connecticut River Valley landscape. She is known for overmantle landscapes. Her Haddam painting holds historical relevance as being the first depiction of Connecticut River Valley, which comes to hold further importance and relevance due to Huntington’s position as a female artist of that time.
