ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin, housed in a recently completed two-building complex, is one of the foremost university art museums in the country. The museum’s permanent collection houses over 17,000 works of art, creating the largest and most comprehensive collection in Central Texas. The Blanton is recognized for its modern and contemporary American and Latin American art, European paintings, and the finest collection of prints and drawings in the South and Southwest.

Thursdays are free admission days and every third Thursday the museum is open until 9pm. Admission if free to members, all current UT ID-holders, and children under 12, $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for college students with ID, and $5 for youth (13-21).
