ORDERING QUESTIONS
How To Order
The easiest and most efficient way to place an order is to do so online. It is easy, safe and secure! Simply add the item you would like to purchase to your shopping cart and check out using our secure checkout system.

We also offer a "mail order" option in which you can place your order online, but mail us a check or money order to complete payment. Instructions on this payment option will be provided during the checkout process.

Sales Tax
We add sales tax to all orders shipping to the state of Washington.

Shipping Confirmation
Upon shipment of your order, we will send you an e-mail confirmation of your orders shipment including tracking information (where applicable).

SHIPPING
How We Ship
All items (framed and unframed) are shipped from our facility, directly to your specified shipping address (residence or business). Framed and matted items are shipped in specially designed boxes maximizing the protection and safety of the item while in transit.

All Domestic USA orders will ship via FedEx Ground, and Non-Domestic USA and International orders will ship via USPS or other international carriers.

All European orders are sent from our Oxford, England location via UK Mail or a regional carrier if the package is going between countries in the EU.

Unfortunately, we can not ship to US Post Office boxes at this time because of FedEx's inability to deliver to these addresses.

What are the shipping charges?
Shipping charges for orders vary depending on the contents of the order as well as the destination. Your exact shipping charge is quoted immediatley upon adding an item to your cart and selecting the destination in the "shipping to" drop box.

International Duties
In some cases you may be required to pay local or national import duties or taxes to your local customs office. We have no means to determine in advance if you will be taxed or what these taxes may amount to. We recommend you research and contact your local customs bureau to determine if you will be required to pay any additional duties.

Shipping Delays & Problems
We recommend that you wait until the end of the estimated delivery time range before you inquire with us as to your order's status. While we have the utmost faith in our shipping and delivery partners, some delays and problems can occur from time to time. Below are some solutions and answers to some of the more common problems.

Delivery Delays

There are several common reasons a delivery is delayed, and in many cases these result in the original shipment being returned to our production center. In all these cases you will be contacted immediately and the situation will be resolved to the best of our ability.

  • Incorrect or invalid shipping address
  • Recipient unavailable to receive delivery
  • Shipment damaged/destroyed in transit

Lost Shipments
If you feel that your shipment has been lost, please contact us immediately and we will determine if it is actually lost or just delayed. If it is lost, a replacement order will be processed and shipped immediately. We cannot track or trace international shipments, therefore we cannot deem them lost until 60 days after the shipping date. When 60 days has passed, an insurance claim will be filed and a replacement shipment will go out immediately, at no additional charge.

RETURNS
Return Policy

At 1000Museums, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of your made to order product.

Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always forefront. Every item we ship is carefully inspected before leaving our facility. We encourage you to do the same upon receipt of your purchase. In the event that damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in manufacture, please contact us at 1.877.679.6099 within 7 days of delivery; we will accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected. Exchanges, credits and refunds issued will be for the item purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping fees may apply. In certain circumstances, a usage or restocking fee may apply. If an order is canceled before it is shipped, a refund will be issued in the original form of tender. If the item is shipped, you are responsible for return shipping charges in order to obtain a refund.

If you have received damaged or defective merchandise, please call Customer Service at 1.877.679.6099. We may ask that you take pictures of the damaged shipment and identify that the shipment arrived damaged when you call into Customer Service and may ask for further assistance in filing an insuance claim with the carrier.

Return Authorization
You must obtain return authorization prior to shipping an item back to us for a refund or exchange. This will allow our customer service team to provide you with proper return instructions as well as updating your order record. If possible, simply send your return request as a reply to your shipping confirmation email. If not possible, email to: customerservice@1000museums.com

We take take privacy and security of your personal and payment information very seriously. For no reason will we ever share your information with a third party. LIMITED EDITION INFO
In some cases 1000Museums or our partners will offer limited edition prints for sale. In regards to this type of product, California law provides for the disclosure in writing of certain information concerning fine art prints, photographs, and sculpture casts. This information is available to you, and you may request to receive it prior to purchase.
